Protect expensive plants from dying in cold temperatures.
According to the University of Georgia Center for Urban Agriculture, plants can be protected in the winter in a few easy, inexpensive steps. In case of freezing temperatures, make sure plants have proper nutrition, cover plants with fabric on cold nights, construct windbreaks to block frigid winds and make sure to keep plants hydrated.
