HPAL Tip of the Week:
Carpooling could save you money on insurance.
Driving less could save you money – on more than gas. Some insurance companies offer a discount if you drive less than the average number of miles per year. A person who drives 5,000 miles a year pays 8.4 percent less for auto insurance than someone who drives 15,000 miles a year, according to a study commissioned by insuranceQuotes.com, so ask if your insurer has a program that encourages carpooling.
